A chiropractor is a professional who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of the neurovascular system. Most of the time a chiropractor will treat you manually. In other words a chiropractor will massage you and crack your bones especially your spine. They will manage your reflexes,spine and posture. The body will then heal itself. The practice a chiropractor performs is an alternative for other treatments for muscle pain, joint, bone and cartilage pain. A chiropractor will work individually but very few professionals work in groups. Not a lot of chiropractors work in hospitals or clinics so they own their own offices. They then, manage their own schedule to fit their needs.
Salary: $64,440 a year
Education: To become a chiropractor you must earn a doctor of chiropractic degree. This degree will take about four years to earn. They will then need a state licence. A chiropractor will need at least three years of undergraduate college.
Demand for this profession: This job will increase in demand by 17% in 2024.
