“Don’t sacrifice what you want more for what you want now. Write down what you want most and see it often.”
By Peter Vidmar
This quote is incredibly eye opening. I mean I could actually relate to this quote. I believe that what you want in the future is more important than what you want right now because of this quote. This is my new motto because of how true it is. The second part of the quote says to write down your goal and visit it frequently. That means to visualize it; to always keep in mind your goal. If you stop and do whatever you want to because it is easier than your ultimate goal you are never going to accomplish anything. This is because everything will seem easier than your goal. You have to take chances and sacrifice what you want to do for what you want to do in the future. An example of this would be if you want to get straight A’s. To do so you need to study hard and do your class and homework daily. Instead your conscience is telling you to be on your phone. You decide to hold up studying for you phone and you get a bad grade on the test. That bad grade will then affect your overall grade for the class and then that grade will mess up your GPA. Next time you decide to make studying a goal of yours and you write it down so you know get an A.
