“When obedience becomes our goal, it is no longer an irritation; instead of stumbling block, it becomes a building block.”
By: James E. Faust

I already established that being obedient is they key to success and that it’s part of being a CTR person. Being obedient will take you a long way hence the quote calling it a building block. The quote states that  when obedience is your goal it is no longer an irritation. To me, this means that when you have other things in your mind obedience is difficult to achieve. When your goal is not obedience or to be a CTR person you will do anything to achieve it whether or not you are obedient. You forget about being obedient and focus on your goal. You then aim to accomplish your goal and probably won’t care if did it and were an obedient person. Obedience becomes a stumbling stone. When your goal is to be an obedient person you will thrive to be an obedient person. You will end up being a good person because that is your goal. You want to make it there so being obedient will get you there. You will then not have a difficulty being a good person. You will be one step closer to your goal when you do as you are told. When you see that being an obedient person will make you improve everything, you’ll want to do it. It will no longer be an irritation. For example, if your goal is to become an outstanding basketball player you won’t stop until you are. That means it doesn’t matter whether you are being obedient as long as you meet your goal. If you are an thrive to be an outstanding player and be a good person. It’s a 2 for 1 deal.
