“ Ask yourself is it right or wrong and act accordingly.”
By: Otto Graham, Jr.
This student success statement by Ottoman Graham is very true. I know this because I actually do this most of the time. A lot of the time I find myself playing too rough and regret doing somethings. I think this statement is applicable in any situation. The times I find myself thinking this is when I’m about to do something know is dumb. Graham is saying just that. By saying this statement he is telling us that we should think twice before we do something. Graham is telling us to think if the consequences before they happen and then ask ourselves if it’s worth it. If we decide that it is not then we should should not do it. If we decide that the consequences are totally worth it then there is when we decide to do it. An example for doing something bad is when you are about to cheat on the big test. You know that if you cheat you are going to fail the class but you decide to take the risk because you don’t care. There is where you think about how wrong it is and still choose to do the wrong thing. If you are thinking of studying the night before, that way you get a good score on your own then you are already thinking of the right thing and you are ready to choose the right and behave the right way. I will continue to think about my actions and hope that I choose the right.
