Occupational Medical Physician
Duties and Responsibilities: An occupational medical physician will make sure to look after the patient’s diagnosis, treatment and prevention of the occupational illness or injury that the patient is suffering from. They will also work as a consultant for the patient and go over the health hazards in their workplace. They will also prepare the patient to return to work after their illness or injury. As well as consult patients, they will also determine their appropriate treatment.

Education: To become an occupational medical physician you will need a degree in medicine from an accredited medical school as well as a state licence. You will also need 2-4 years of clinical practice in occidental medicine to make sure that you are comfortable with the procedures and practices in that certain profession.
Demand or Need for this profession: There is an expected increase in all physicians at 14%. That is much faster than usual.
